The steamer works well on light fabrics, but Im not satified with it on heavier cloth such as linen or denim....wrinkles dont budge much. The clothes are quite wet from the steam when finshed so Id advise to steam your clothes well in advance of wearing them, like the night before. |

Overall very happy with the product. Delivery was quick and it all arrived as described. The steamer itself is a little noisy - bubbly water sounds when it steams up but other than that it works great. |

I have been very satisfied with this product. I was looking for an inexpensive but effective clothes steamer that I could use to freshen up vintage clothes and delicate fabrics and for $69 was very happy with what this little model could do. I had researched the internet for a model in my price range and found so many hit & miss reviews for clothes steamers. I think too often people expect steamers to replace ironing and get disappointed with the results. Basically if you hate ironing steamers are great for quickly removing wrinkles and making garments wearable. However, for certain fabrics and garment types they will never give you the crisp finish of an iron. Their BIG advantage however is on delicate fabrics and garments that are difficult to iron (delicate fabrics like silk, lace, woolen coats & linings, garments that have been trimmed or embellished). You simply hang them on a plastic hanger on the steamer, heat up the tank & steam it in less than a few minutes without fear of dam |

Excellent service in delivering promptly and keeping me informed of delivery process. Product does what it does I suppose. The hose does tend to crimp stopping steam flow and it is quite unstable with the nozzle in it's keeper. Would have liked a steam burst function, it wasn't a product feature, just something that I desired after using it for a while. Would not class as a "Professional" product, a bit too flimsy for that and I was not that impressed by the steam flow. |

I found the garment steamer does a good job on clothes that have been hanging and are wrinkled it heats up fast and certainly removes wrinkles quickly . The steamer is not suitable for ironing as such but for a quick freshen up it is great |

Received product in ecellent time despite the Easter w/end and arrived in good order.Item is as described. Wasnt sure about how a steamer would compare to an iron. Well at this stage I dont think the iron will go out of business as one reviewer also commented. The assembling was very easy and logic. Using it may need a bit of practice as some cotton shirts did not come up very wrinkle free.And the more I tried on them the damper the garments got. I think it will be beneficial to steam lounges and pillows and winter coats ,cushions etc. The trick for the steam is to keep the hose very straight and upright otherwise it drips and can get your clothes and floor wet, also follow the instructions in the booklet. Overall dont epect a garment steamer for domestic use to cut your ironing time in half as I feel it wont. However I will continue to use it and try to perfect my technique and maybe will learn to use it better. Before I purchased most reviews about home steamers I had read were negative. I think people were epecting to throw out the iron for good and zip up and down their clothes and they would look perfect and starched. I too hoped for that but this will not be the case. so do consider before you buy if you could get other uses out of a steamer such as mentioned before. |
