Weird product, this Mack warranty. Their website is a bit sketchy with info, particularly pertaining to Australia, because their business and website is all USA-centric. You need to register online with them, which is fine, except the interface doesnt allow you to enter all the items. The real test will be if I need to call upon this warranty, which I hope I never do. Its not clear if I need to pay shipping to a repair assessor, and in what country the assessor is in. Its quite a bit different to fronting up to a counter with your item. But I cant be-grudge that - I chose to get a grey import, so I miss out on easy warranty service. Still, the mystery surrounding this Mack warranty shouldnt exist - there should be clearer info. Star rating is 3 starts - average - because I cant rate a product I havent had to use. |
