The effectiveness of this battery back-up surge protector will not be known until I experience a blackout. One suggestion for improvement is that the battery back-up is only connected to three of the six power outlets. I would prefer that all six power outlets were battery protected. |

Belkin quality, cant beat it! 600VA is plenty for most computer systems (mine also backs up the foxtel so we dont miss bits when recording, and the kids turn on one heater too many and blow the house fuse. |

Living on a Station with Solar/batteries and Gen backup I highly recommend this unit. We have power fluctuations due to weather all the time. When the batteries cut out the Belkin takes over & sends an audible alarm to let you know whats going on. It gives approx 5 mins life, ample time to shut down computers or start the generator to take over. Highly recommended Dave |
