The DX-390 is able to decode, playback and output High Definition 1080p videos through the HDMI interface. It also supports NAS with build in Samba Server, which is able to share the whole hard drive to the network, so you can easily access content via your computer.The DX-390 has a built-in Dual Tuner which enables you to watch and record different channels simultaneously, or record two channels at the same time. Two television shows can be programmed to record in the same time slot, or one show can be recorded on one Tuner while you watch a program on the other Tuner. With the DX-390 it is also possible to watch pre-recorded content while the two Tuners are recording other shows.

The jury is still out. I did not ditch my previous PVR yet. It does have occasional problems. Once it had a complete crash - I could only bring it back by removing the power. On the positive side I had no problems connecting a wireless keyboard/mouse with USB dongle. |

Used it for a couple of weeks now and no problems at all. Has one of the most functionality players on the market and definitively best value as well. Hard disk was easy to install and worked straigth away. Setup was easy and AV quality is excellent, even on my 110" projection screen. Delivery was super quick and very easy to deal with.
