PENTAX SP (Super Protect) coating keeps the elements at bay, while the Quick-Shift Focus System allows for instant switching from auto to manual focus.
Built-in, flower-shaped metal lens hood adds no bulk to the lens, and is always available to minimize light flare.
The focal length is equivalent to 23mm in the 35mm format.
