Your standard GoFlex Pro comes with a USB 2.0 cable to connect to your PC or Mac computer. You also have the option to purchase a drive only version that comes without the cable. Select the GoFlex Pro ultra-portable drive-drive only version if:
- You are already using a GoFlex ultra-portable drive and want to use the same cable to connect your new GoFlex Pro; or
- You want a faster interface than USB 2.0-like USB 3.0, eSATA, or FireWire 800-right from the start

Very easy to use, link straight to computer via usb no need for a power point. Compact design and fairly fast downloads. The supplied auto backup software only works in Windows, My documents folders which doesnt suit my situation because my photos and other documents are on a different partion, but you could pay for an upgrade of the software which would apparently work in other partions. Still a very well designed portable easy to use HDD. |

Received my 1.5TB GoFlex Portable Drive only 6 days after ordering (and that includes a weekend) well packed and in perfect condition. It has been put to good use performing automated backups. Great value at an unbeatable price, although USB 3.0 would have better, saving separate purchase of an adaptor cable. |
