Paying by credit card
Topbuy.com.au credit card purchases will be displayed as Topbuy.com.au on your credit card statement.

Paying with credit card is easy and extremely safe. All transactions are made through the St George Bank's online payment gateway, all data are encrypted using the latest 128 Bit SSL encryption technology (Secure Socket Layer) before being sent over the internet. We do not store any of our customer's credit card information.

Your credit card will be charged when you place the order to better ensure that the goods are packed and shipped with the minimum of delay.

Important: Security is paramount for us and it's obviously an important issue for you too. As such, large transactions may involve additional verification before we process the order. When this happens, this may delay your order by a day or two, we appreciate your understanding and support. It is in the interests of all credit card holders that we do all we can to prevent fraudulent use of your credit card.

Due to the incidence of credit card fraud, we have imposed a transaction amount limit on some products. If the order exceeds this limit credit card payment option will not be available during checkout.

Paying by BPAY®
Topbuy.com.au accepts payments via the BPAY payment system. In simple terms, BPAY is an easy way of transferring money from your bank account to ours without the hassle of remembering account numbers. It's available to all major bank customers and are found in your Internet Banking or via telephone banking.

It generally take 1-2 working days before our bank pass your payment to us. After receiving your payment your order will be dispatched.

Paying by Bank Deposit / Bank Transfer
Topbuy.com.au uses St George Bank and you can simply choose to pay by transferring funds from your bank account directly into ours via internet banking or go to a St George branch (Bank SA branches in South Australia) and pay into our account over the counter.

Our bank details and payment instructions will be provided upon completion of checkout. It generally take 1-2 working days before our bank pass your payment to us. After receiving your payment your order will be dispatched.

Paying online with PayPal ®
Topbuy.com.au accepts online payments via the PayPal payment system. It's greatest advantage is that payments are made immediately - much quicker than sending bank transfers.

Setting up a PayPal account may take up to two weeks to process due to identity verification checks, but this is all in the interest of your own security. Once it's up and running, you'll find it's a fast, safe and easy way to pay!

Is there any restrictions?
We do not accept payment by credit card for orders over $150. We may also require identity verification checks to prevent credit card fraud.

These restrictions may be avoided if payment is made with Paypal's credit card transaction processing service. Simply choose Paypal as the payment method during our Checkout process. If you haven't registered with Paypal already, visit their website at Paypal.com.au and follow their instructions to get your credit card approved.

What is BPAY?
In simple terms, BPAY® is an easy way of transferring money from your bank account to ours without the hassle of account numbers. Once it is set up with your financial institution (for free), you'll find it's a safe, easy and convenient way for you to make online payments.

How to pay using BPAY?
When placing your order, just select BPAY as your payment method. We'll then provide you with a BPAY biller code and reference number.

You can then use your bank's phone banking or internet banking to submit payment. It's usually as simple as selecting the "BPAY" or "pay a bill" option, then entering your Topbuy.com.au biller code and reference number. If you need a hand using BPAY, your bank will be more than happy to help out.

You don't need to advise us when your payment has been made - our system will automatically locate your order based on your BPAY reference number.

BPAY payments take 1-2 weekdays to reach us from your bank. Once your payment arrives, your order will be processed. For this reason, we recommend payment via credit card or PayPal for the fastest possible delivery.

When you pay for your orders by Direct Deposit, we pay less bank fees, and as you know we try to pass as much savings back to you as possible!

Simply choose Direct Deposit as payment method during checkout, and the discount will be applied on the next page.

Why was my credit card declined?

Your credit card may have been declined due to the following reasons:

  1. Insufficient funds
  2. Your card has expired
  3. Incorrect CSC number, preventing transaction completion (please refer to "What is my credit card's CSC number?")
  4. You may be typing your credit card number with spaces. If you try entering your credit card number as a single number, without any spaces, you shouldn't have any further problems.

Should you be experiencing other problems with your credit card payment, please place an enquiry with Customer Service via the Contact Us section of the TopBuy website.

We strongly suggest you to wait and try again in 1-2 minutes if you encounter a technical issue when making a payment, and avoid multiple payment attempts in short period of time, this will prevent making multiple payments accidentally.

To solve some issues, we may be able to guide you through the process or place the order for you manually. However please note this service is not guaranteed to be available or successful in all cases, and whilst we do not charge to assist you over the telephone to place your order via the web, if we place the order for you, an administration fee of $5 applies.

What is my credit card's CSC number?

Your CSC number is your Card Security Code, which is a 3 or 4 digit number printed on the back or the front of your credit card. As you may have noticed, we request the CSC number on your credit card during your Secure Checkout process. The CSC number is an authentication check to help prevent fraud. Therefore, if your credit card number is provided with an incorrect CSC number, the transaction will not be approved.

If you have a Visa or Mastercard the CSC number is located on the back of your card and it is 3 digits. The CSC number is often also referred to as CVV number, CW2, CVC2 or CID number.

If a credit card number is provided with an incorrect CSC number, the transaction will not be approved.

Why I can not pay by Bpay or Direct Deposit for STEAL OF THE DAY?

Please also note, due to the delays in confirming payment and in order to avoid disappointment for people who miss out on our STEAL OF THE DAY promotions. For STEAL OF THE DAY promotions we only accept Credit Card, Paypal payments.

Note: When paying by Direct Deposit, please pay exact amount and leave the order number as reference for the payment.
